ABOUT

CANOVATION

Canovation is a container engineering & design company created in response to worldwide consumer demand for a reduction in the consumption of single-use plastics, which are destroying ecosystems and our health. We create packaging solutions that are recyclable, resealable, safe, economical, and fully environmentally sustainable.

Canovation has developed the revolutionary CanReseal®. CanReseal® is the first all-metal, resealable can that is economical, scalable, and sustainable. We possess multiple domestic and international patents protecting the first major, consumer-benefiting advancement in cans in over 30 years with the last being the wide-mouth opening introduced in the early 90’s.

Canovation is actively engaging with most major global beverage, packaged food, and can manufacturers, all governed by non-disclosure agreements.
In recent developments, AB InBev, the world’s largest beer company and the second-largest user of beverage cans, has accepted us into their Supplier Innovation Partnership Program. Programs such as this have historically demonstrated the opportunity to gain funding participation from companies like AB InBev and others. Canovation is gaining partners to accelerate CanReseal®’s commercial availability and success.

MISION

To facilitate the world’s transition to infinitely recyclable cans by providing a superior consumer experience and a powerful packaging differentiator

VISION

Canovation envisions a future where the all-metal CanReseal® is the revolutionary successor to difficult-to-recycle plastic containers.

BUSINESS MODEL

Canovation’s various Intellectual Properties are intended to be licensed to container manufacturers and other relevant entities worldwide. To complement the licensing of our various technologies, Canovation also provides the equipment and tooling support necessary to produce these solutions. Licensing revenue is based upon a fee per thousand CanReseal® cans sold, emulating current packaging industry practices. Our revenue streams include the following:

An initial, one-time licensing fee based on installed production capacity

Licensing personalization of CR® cap. It is a 360˚ PLUS advertising billboard

Fee-based R&D and custom design services
