BUSINESS MODEL
Canovation’s various Intellectual Properties are intended to be licensed to container manufacturers and other relevant entities worldwide. To complement the licensing of our various technologies, Canovation also provides the equipment and tooling support necessary to produce these solutions. Licensing revenue is based upon a fee per thousand CanReseal® cans sold, emulating current packaging industry practices. Our revenue streams include the following:
An initial, one-time licensing fee based on installed production capacity
Licensing personalization of CR® cap. It is a 360˚ PLUS advertising billboard
Fee-based R&D and custom design services
Licensing reusable functional accessories like pumps, sprays, and dispensers.
Gary Brown is the CEO of Canovation. His leadership and experience in numerous corporations has been a key factor in the success of our business and his other ventures. Gary has established and led several successful businesses employing up to 4,000 employees and nearly half a billion in revenue, with 9 operating units in four countries. In recent years, Mr. Brown has acted as a venture capitalist. Gary has been an active Board member in several US based businesses.
Daniel Zabaleta is an experienced designer, engineer, and inventor with a history of working across multiple industries and engineering disciplines. Being highly creative and a gifted problem solver, Dan invented the CanReseal® can. Jeff Grajewski has immense experience in the consumer food and beverage industries, working over 30 years in various senior positions with AB InBev, SABMiller, MillerCoors, Kraft Foods, Colgate-Palmolive, and M&M/Mars. His accomplishments include overseeing international procurement, strategic, and negotiating teams at the global multi-billion-dollar level. Jeff has played a key role in the commercialization of several new packaging innovations.
John Adams is a globally recognized end-to-end metal packaging expert with over 25 years of experience with Fortune 100 companies including Alcoa, Coca-Cola, and Anheuser-Busch. John has managed the complete development cycle for multi-million-dollar innovations. John has experience in the fields of metallurgy, manufacturing, quality assurance, research & development, and commercialization.
Scott Biondich is a technical innovator with 25 years’ combined experience at Coca-Cola and Alcoa specializing in metal packaging design, strategy, innovation, and research & development. Scott’s renowned track record includes efficiently developing innovative breakthrough products from concept through commercialization.
